Alright, so we've been hard at work getting the new site ready! It's going very well and everything is looking great! I can't wait for the reveal! Until then, I'd love to give you a sneak peak at the all new Hip2Save logo! Please keep in mind the new logo is very different then the old one, but it's definitely more me!
Check it out:
I wanted a coupon that was unique, worn, had some cuts off the dotted line... BUT at the same time was still bright and cheery! This coupon is how I perceive myself. I make mistakes, I have bad days, I don't always go on the correct path... BUT at the end of the day, I can smile because I'm doing the best that I can and I am ready for whatever life throws my way!
I'd love to hear your thought on the logo! And again, words cannot express how much I appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you for sticking by me through all of this craziness!

ReplyDeleteThis is meant as constructive criticism. I totally understand your meaning behind the logo. My opinion is that your logo should not reflect this. Your logo should reflect the potential of the site. I'm sure you get a lot of backlash when a deal is dead fast or the prices are different in varies states. I don't think that you intentional post bad information. (Maybe a disclaimer would help with these issues). As a new subscriber (5 months) I do not feel that the logo expresses what your blog provides. I exclusively go to your blog because not only do you provide info for the national stores, you provide hip info on clothes and gift items. I personally cannot find a blog that has both. I hope this is food for thought.
As everyone else is saying,hurry up I'm having severe withdrawal.

The best part is that if I'm having a super busy day I have my sister and friends to tell me what i missed! AND they're all hooked now too! But i do feel, though, that it meets all the requirements you had except cheery -- it still looks a little more on the sad and precarious side than it does on the cheery side. I have to agree with a couple of the other commenters - I like parts of the new logo but it doesn't quite say "cheerful" to me. More like "a little tired and wornout but still working hard for you" The logo itself is cute, but I'm not sure it communicates quite what you're wanting?

Collin--I am crazy about you and I loooove this website! I am a momma of 5 boys who are busy with sports, school, band, and other activities. I am running all the time! I am trying to afford all their activities too! Saving money, being smart at the store, and using coupons and your tips are saving my budget! Thank you a million times!!!
