"Follow Me Monday" Eat This!

OK... with all that has been going on, I am very excited to be able to post this "Follow Me Monday" video and on time! It's exactly 11:50 PM CST, so for lots of you this video made it on Monday! Yay!

Now I will tell you, this video is completely pointless. I try to cook some Christmas goodies to share with all of you, but as you'll see, I am NOT good in the kitchen! I won't be linking to any of the recipes I try and make in the video! Why? Well, watch the video to see!;-)

New Update 12/20: Check Out My New Logo!!!

Alright, so we've been hard at work getting the new site ready! It's going very well and everything is looking great! I can't wait for the reveal! Until then, I'd love to give you a sneak peak at the all new Hip2Save logo! Please keep in mind the new logo is very different then the old one, but it's definitely more me!

I wanted a coupon that was unique, worn, had some cuts off the dotted line... BUT at the same time was still bright and cheery! This coupon is how I perceive myself. I make mistakes, I have bad days, I don't always go on the correct path... BUT at the end of the day, I can smile because I'm doing the best that I can and I am ready for whatever life throws my way!

I'd love to hear your thought on the logo! And again, words cannot express how much I appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you for sticking by me through all of this craziness!

New Update-- 12/19 10:30am EST!

Hello again,

I am so sorry for not updating you all sooner on what the heck is going on!!! Yesterday was very crazy-- to say the least! I have NO clue when my blog is going to be unlocked and honestly, it could be days. I am working with an amazing web design team on getting my site switched over to Wordpress. I'm not sure exactly when we'll be able to launch the new site... I will try to update you all later this weekend.

I always, always try to see the good in what life throws my way and this time it's NO different! What has happened is definitely a blessing in disguise and in a few days (hopefully) I'll show you exactly what I mean!

Side note, the support I have from my readers is amazing! On Friday night, when my site locked up, I felt like, well, really depressed... that is until I started reading all your emails! WOW! You all have helped me realize why I have chosen to blog! I absolutely LOVE what I do because of all of you! Thank you so much!

Google Cache

I just wanted everyone to know that you can still read the site on the Google Cache.

Google Cache has the site up till last night at 6pm. We are working to restore the site, but I thought you could read it there if you like.

This is Collin wanting to let you all know what's going on with my blog, Hip2Save - or lack thereof. The Hip2Save blog is on Blogger. Blogger, with no advance notification to me, locked my blog last night at midnight with an automatic message saying that my blog had been marked as a spam blog. Not true! Very frustrating for all! Blogger's spam-prevention robots detected that my blog had characteristics of a spam blog. However, Automated spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and so there are lots of false positives--with this being one of them!

I am scrambling and doing my best to get the blog back online. Blogger has no phone support and its online forum about this issue indicates that a Blogger representative needs to review the situation and this may take some time. Today is a huge one for all of you looking for last-minute Christmas deals and especially for those of you who were the recipients of yesterday's First Annual Hip2Save Christmas Giveaway.

Please don't email me directly as I am trying to get the problem resolved. In the meantime, please be patient as I try to work out the kinks. Needless to say, one of my immediate goals is to get my blog off Blogger and onto a new blogging platform.
